CATALOGUE STARTING POINTS
Tape families
to explore.
These are catalogue examples for discussion. Product selection, specifications and suitability are confirmed with ETI for your application.
PVC Insulation Tape
Organise electrical tape selection around the installation and the required documentation. ETI’s PVC insulation tape range includes wire wrapping, bundling and identification uses. Explain the cable environment and any specified electrical or flame performance so the team can check the selected grade instead of treating all PVC tapes as interchangeable.
Polyester Tape
Polyester tape is used in thin-film joining and production tasks where a low-profile tape format is useful. ETI’s catalogue includes applications involving splicing, graphics and display work. Identify the material being joined and any heat or process exposure so a specific construction can be reviewed rather than assumed.
Copper Foil Conductive Tape
Copper foil tape is considered in electrical contact and shielding-related assemblies where the conductive path must be understood. ETI can review the overlap, substrate and contact arrangement before a grade is selected. Conductivity through the adhesive is a separate property to verify; the presence of a copper backing alone does not confirm it.
